Now I know that there are a few ways to force IE (thats Intercrap Explorer) to play ball when it comes to CSS, but having gone down a few routes I found by far the easier and quicker is to use the * & _ hacks.
These go in front of the line of CSS that is IE specific, these force IE to ignore say top: 150px; in the CSS stylesheet and use *top: 170px; instead.
Use * to target IE7 and below and use _ to target IE6 and below.
Now I know that a few people will have an issue with this but I’m a designer, I like using paper and pens, this is a quick way to make IE play with the rest of them, not a solution to a massive problem.
